Tomfoolery Talks: Long Distance Adventures
February 6, 2018
We are taking over Mudlick Tap House in Downtown Dayton, OH to talk long distance adventures. This will be the second in a monthly series with focused panel discussions on a variety of adventure and mindful living topics. Mark your calendar for the first Tuesday of each month at Mudlick Tap House.
Many of us dream of taking that trip of a lifetime. We often crave the opportunity to get lost in the woods, spend time on the open road, shed responsibility and throw caution to the wind. All in search of that epic, life-changing journey that brings up closer to what is most important in life.
Our panelists have chosen not to wait for someday! They all have had several adventures of a lifetime. Many are working on their trip of a lifetime (this year). We have an exciting mix of long distance cyclists, hikers, paddlers and road trippers.
Join us for an evening of open discussion about the benefits and challenges of a long distance journey. We plan to answer the common questions and comments. How do plan such an adventure? Funding? What do you eat? Where do you go to the bathroom? How about a shower? You must be single? You must be rich? I am not in shape. When I get more time I will do something like that. It must be nice to take that long of a break from life. We encourage you to come with more questions. We are ready for you!
Each panelist has a variety of local, regional and international travels to offer a unique perspective on long distance adventure. They will share stories from their weeks, months and years of time in the outdoors. These experiences set the stage for a fascinating discussion.
Registration is limited so reserve your spot today. Cost is $10 per person
